A five-year-old girl got her arm stuck in an escalator at a mall in central China.<br /><br />The terrifying CCTV video, shot in Hanchuan city in Hubei province on August 12, shows a girl putting her hand on the handrail when going up an escalator with her mum.<br /><br />After she reached the top, the girl's hand was sucked into the gap where the handrail goes.<br /><br />Firefighters managed to use blade and screwdriver to tear down the escalator.<br /><br />After ten minutes, the girl's arm was freed successfully and she was handed over to the paramedics on site. <br /><br />The girl was hospitalised and a doctor had to stitch up her arm.
