First Trailer Released for<br />Greta Gerwig’s ‘Little Women’.<br />Sony Pictures released the first official look at the<br />newest “Little Women” adaptation on August 13. .<br />The film is directed by Greta Gerwig and features<br />an A-list cast of celebrities such as Emma Watson,<br />Timothée Chalamet and Saoirse Ronan.<br />When asked about her choice to bring back<br />Chalamet and Ronan, who also starred in her 2017<br />film “Ladybird,” Gerwig called them “spectacular.” .<br />I just adore them. They are just spectacular as<br />live actors, and there is some true pairing between<br />them that feels like [it’s] in the tradition of great<br />cinematic pairing…I don’t know what they do --<br />I mean, it’s magic. I direct them, but it’s all there, Greta Gerwig, via ‘Entertainment Weekly’.<br />Gerwig also spoke about her decision to<br />cast Watson as she believes the 29-year-old<br />actress truly “embodies” her role as Meg March. .<br />She has so much open-heartedness and so<br />much love combined with that much intelligence,<br />it’s heartbreaking and potent.
