A Russian passenger plane made an emergency landing in a cornfield near Moscow on Thursday (August 15) after striking a flock of birds.<br /><br />Twenty-three people were injured in the incident, according to health officials.<br /><br />The Ural Airlines Airbus 321 was travelling to Simferopol in Crimea when it hit a flock of gulls shortly after take-off, local media reported.
