Typhoon Krosa ripped through western Japan on Thursday, leaving one person dead and over 30 people injured.<br />The season's 10th typhoon made landfall near Hiroshima Prefecture around 3 p.m. and proceeded north to the East Sea.<br />As of midnight Thursday, it was moving at a speed of 35 kilometers an hour.<br />Over 7-thousand residents were evacuated and over eight-hundred flights were delayed or cancelled.<br />After crossing western Japan, the typhoon's expected to be downgraded by early Saturday.<br />
