This is the moment a newly-built bridge was washed away by a raging river that burst its banks during rainstorms. <br /><br />Resident Kim Oliveira said the current became even stronger after her neighbours removed the water lilies and rubbish that were blocking the flow.<br /><br />She said: "They didn't know the force was enough to destroy the bridge." <br /><br />She said that they were now using a boat to cross the village that is divided by the river. <br /><br />No one was hurt in the incident in Bataan, the Philippines, during heavy monsoon rain last Monday (August 5).
