Barack Obama Reveals New List <br />of Book Recommendations In a Facebook post, the former president started <br />off by plugging a number of works <br />from novelist Toni Morrison. Morrison, who was honored seven years ago <br />with the Presidential Medal of Freedom, <br />died earlier this month at the age of 88. Barack Obama, via Facebook Obama listed off 10 other works for readers, such <br />as Colson Whitehead's 'The Nickel Boys.' He also recommends Ted Chiang's 'Exhalation' <br />and Hilary Mantel’s 'Wolf Hall.' Others include 'Men Without Women' by <br />Haruki Murakami and 'American Spy'<br />by Lauren Wilkinson. He also reccomends Nicholas Carr's <br />'The Shallows,' Hope Jahren's <br />'Lab Girl' and 'Inland' by Téa Obreht. Rounding off the list was 'How to Read the Air' by Dinaw Mengestu and Stephanie Land's 'Maid.'
