'It: Chapter 2' Looking at <br />$110 Million Box Office Opening.<br />According to 'Variety,' early projections <br />have the sequel making anywhere from <br />$95 to $110 million in its first weekend.<br />By comparison, the first film in 2017 recorded a $123 million debut.<br />The adaptation of the Stephen King novel went on <br />to gross $700 million worldwide, making it the <br />most successful horror movie ever.<br />'Chapter 2' is set 27 years after the first movie and features the return of Bill Skarsgard as <br />the murderous Pennywise.<br />The film also stars adult members of the <br />'Losers Club,' which includes James McAvoy, <br />Jessica Chastain and Bill Hader.<br />The first movie's director, <br />Andy Muschietti, also returned <br />to helm the sequel.<br />'It: Chapter 2' hits theaters <br />nationwide on September 6
