OECD 주요국 중 한국만 석탄소비 증가... 작년 2.4% 늘어<br /><br />South Korea saw a significant rise in coal consumption last year,... according to an annual report by British Petroleum.<br />The country's consumption of coal grew by two-point-four percent on-year in 2018,... hitting 88-point-two million tonnes oil equivalent.<br />The figure puts South Korea in fifth place in terms of total coal consumption among the OECD countries after China, India, the U.S. and Japan.<br />The United Kingdom, Germany and the U.S. saw coal consumption drop by 16-point-6 percent, seven-point-two percent and four-point-three percent respectively.<br />However, developing economies continued to see growth of coal consumption, at an average of 3 percent on-year. <br />
