Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad told the press on Sunday that the Government had chosen to side with expert opinion instead of popular opinion regarding Lynas Malaysia.<br /><br />His remark comes after anti-Lynas protestors slammed the government's U-turn in allowing an operating licence extension for the rare earth company at a rally.
