US National Security Advisor Michael Flynn has resigned and Keith Kellogg has been named an interim replacement according to White House officials.<br />He resigned after reports emerged that he misled Trump administration officials about his contacts with Russia's ambassador to the US.<br />Trump was evaluating the situation surrounding Flynn.
