In a blow to SP supremo, Mulayam Yadav, the Election Commission acknowledged Akhilesh as the party president and announced that the symbol belongs to Akhilesh-led Samajwadi Party.<br />In its verdict the EC said that Mulayam Singh did not file a single affidavit.
