The United Kingdom will end European Union freedom of movement rules...immediately after it leaves the bloc on October 31st.<br />The Prime Minister's spokesperson said on Monday that the government instead plans tougher criminality rules for people entering the country as part of the new hardline stance.<br />Around three-point-six million EU citizens in the U.K. have been ordered to apply for permanent settled status.<br />Prime Minister Boris Johnson, however, said the country would not be hostile to immigration.<br />The UK is set to leave the 28-member bloc without a divorce deal in roughly ten weeks from now.<br />
