A man carried his grandson on his back while climbing down the outside of a residential building to escape a fire in southern China.<br /><br />The video, filmed in Changsha county in Hunan province on August 21, shows thick smoke coming out of an apartment on the seventh floor of a building.<br /><br />A man, with his grandson on his back, is seen scaling down the building.<br /><br />Firefighters broke into the flat on the seventh floor to put out the fire first and then rescued the man and his grandson on the floor below.<br /><br />The pair were sent to hospital and their conditions are unknown.
