U.S. President Donald Trump's apparent desire to buy Greenland first came as a surprise for Denmark,... and now it has turned to bewilderment and anger after the American leader abruptly scrapped a planned visit to the northern European country.<br />The Danish prime minister said she was surprised and disappointed that Trump called off his visit over Copenhagen's refusal to sell Greenland.<br />She previously said President Trump's Greenland proposal was "absurd",... publicly saying Greenland was not for sale.<br />Firing back, Trump told reporters Wednesday that the prime minister's statement was "nasty",… and said it's wrong to say such a thing to the United States.<br />Trump was scheduled to visit Copenhagen early next month.<br />
