No single-use plastic will be allowed around Mount Everest...in a bid to cut down on waste left by climbers.<br />Nepalese authorities announced the new rules on Wednesday.<br />They said it will "keep the region, Everest and nearby mountains clean long term.<br />The ban will take effect next year.<br />As yet, no penalties have been announced for climbers violating the rule.<br />Authorities recently cleared eleven tons of garbage from the world's highest mountain.<br />
