This was the astonishing scene during rush-hour traffic in Vietnam - with thousands of vehicles queuing for miles around.<br /><br />The sea of cars and motorcycle riders were filmed waiting at a set of traffic lights in Hanoi, the capital, in the north of the country.<br /><br />Even at each of the four roads after the junction, the traffic was bumper-to-bumper in every direction. <br /><br />The chaotic scene was captured during the Monday morning commute (August 19) at around 8am as locals travelled to work.<br /><br />Office worker Le Thi Mai Phuong who filmed the video said: ''I can't believe this was a Monday. I felt bad already just travelling through this traffic. And it was only Monday, the start of the week.''
