The spectacular moment is captured when New Yorkers were left in awe of a tandem aerial display from American and British military jets on Thursday (August 22) morning.<br /><br />The Red Arrows of Britain's Royal Air Force joined the US Air Force Thunderbirds for a historic aerial parade over the Hudson River and Statue of Liberty at around 9:30 a.m. <br /><br />Six F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft from the Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, known as the Thunderbirds, flew in formation alongside the Red Arrows in the skies above Manhattan. <br /><br />The two display teams were joined by a formation of the F-22 Raptor Demo Team and the F-35 Demo Team - also of the US Air Force - during the fly-over.
