In Brexit news...<br />British Prime Minister Boris Johnson says the Irish border backstop is "indispensable" to preserving political stability and the single market.<br />This is what he told French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris during Brexit talks on Thursday.<br />Johnson also said the UK's vote to quit the EU must be respected.<br />He added with energy and creativity they can find a way forward.<br />However,... the French President reiterated there was not enough time to negotiate a wholly new Brexit divorce deal, saying Brexit is "not the choice of the European Union."<br />
