Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono says South Korea's decision to walk away from the military intelligence-sharing pact with Tokyo is "extremely regrettable."<br />According to Kyodo News,... Kono told reporters Seoul is "completely misreading the security situation in Northeast Asia" by pulling out.<br />He also summoned South Korea's ambassador to Japan late Thursday to lodge an official complaint.<br />Seoul had said Tokyo's removal of South Korea from the list of its preferred trading partners created a "grave change" to their cooperation on security.<br />But Kono said the two matters are completely different and Seoul's claims are unacceptable.<br />
