South Korea is putting tighter safety checks on Japanese food imports... starting today.<br />According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, the government is doubling the number of inspections on food imports from Japan... that have a record of being sent back due to radioactive contamination.<br />The food ministry also plans to double the amount of samples inspected.<br />The new measures will be applied to 17 products including tea and chocolate.<br />
