법원 '배출가스 조작' 폴크스바겐•아우디에 위자료 책임 인정<br /><br />A Seoul court has ordered Volkswagen Group and its Korean unit to compensate customers who bought their cars in 2015.<br />The Seoul District Court said the firms should pay for what it called the customers' "psychological damages" caused by the carmaker's emissions-cheating scandal and delayed recall.<br />In late 2015, hundreds of Korean owners of Audi and VW vehicles filed a lawsuit against the carmaker after the government found the German cars were fitted with devices that cheated emissions tests.<br />The court ordered Volkswagen, Audi and their Korean unit pay 825 U.S. dollars in compensation to each car sold to each plaintiff.<br />
