Japan's Self-Defense Forces held a major drill on Sunday.<br />Tokyo-based NHK and Kyodo News Agency reported that,.... some 24-hundred Self Defense members,... 80 tanks armored vehicles,.... as well as aircraft took part in the two-hour drill.<br />The exercise is said to have focused on checking land forces' island defense capabilities.<br />It came on the same day that South Korea began its bi-annual maritime drills for the defense of Dokdo.<br />
