Five billion discs delivered is a huge milestone and we owe it all to our amazing members and team members, @dvdnetflix, via Twitter.<br />Netflix's physical media numbers have <br />shrunk considerably since 2011 when over <br />14 million were getting discs in the mail.<br />As of 2019's Q2, there are just <br />2.4 million using the service.<br />Despite the huge drop, DVDs are <br />still netting the streaming service <br />$46 million in quarterly profits.<br />Netflix's spends more on developing original content and over 150 million users are now streaming.<br />But with the new achievement, it appears that <br />the company's DVD delivery department <br />is doing enough to stay around
