'Saturday Night Live' Cast Member Leslie Jones to Depart .<br />According to 'The Hollywood Reporter,' she will not be apart of the show's <br />45th season, which premieres <br />next month.<br />Jones became an official part of the long-running sketch show back in <br />2014 after starting out as a writer.<br />Over the NBC's program's past <br />five seasons, she has evolved into <br />one of its most recognizable stars.<br />Jones has also recently earned <br />two Emmy nominations for <br />her role on 'SNL.'.<br />Sources tell 'Variety' that the 51-year-old is leaving to explore <br />other entertainment projects.<br />She will appear in the sequel to <br />Eddie Murphy's 'Coming to America' <br />and has an upcoming stand-up <br />special on Netflix.<br />The "Ghostbusters' star herself has not personally commented on the decision to leave 'Saturday Night Live.'
