Farmers' Almanac Predicting <br />Very Cold Winter for Most of the US.<br />According to the periodical, the coldest temperatures will be reserved for the <br />end of January into the start of February.<br />It adds that "bitterly cold conditions" are in store for parts of the country stretching from the east coast <br />to Colorado.<br />Our extended forecast is calling for yet another freezing, frigid, and frosty winter for two-thirds of the country, Farmers' Almanac editor Peter Geiger, via statement.<br />The Almanac adds that parts of the <br />northern Plains will see <br />frigid temperatures.<br />As will the Great Lakes region, which includes areas in <br />Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois.<br />Meanwhile, the Northeast is expected to <br />see above-normal precipitation and be colder-than-normal for most of the winter season.<br />The eastern part of the U.S. will also see a big mixture of snow, rain and sleet in the beginning of 2020.<br />There is relief for those in the <br />Pacific Northwest and Southwest, <br />as Farmers' says a normal <br />winter season is expected.<br />Only the western third of the country will see near-normal winter temperatures, which means fewer shivers for them, Farmers’ Almanac, via statement
