Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif urged European leaders to comply with the 2015 Iran nuclear deal during his visits to France last week.<br />His chief secretary said Wednesday that Iran's top diplomat asked France to press the U.S. to lift sanctions against his country and for European countries to comply with the Obama-era nuclear deal that the Trump administration withdrew from last year. <br />Zarif's frequent visits to France have sparked rumors Iran and France are discussing a possible U.S.-Iran summit.<br />However, Iran flatly rejects that speculation, insisting Zarif was in Europe to negotiate with EU countries.<br />
