South Korea's Supreme Court is set to deliver its final verdict in the massive corruption scandal involving former President Park Geun-hye, her confidante Choi Soon-sil and Samsung Electronics Vice Chairman Lee Jae-yong.<br />The verdict is due at 2 p.m., Korea time on Thursday.<br />It comes 28 months after the former president was charged for conspiring with Choi into forcing conglomerates, including Samsung Group, to make donations to build two foundations under Choi's control.<br />A lower court sentenced Park and Choi to 25 years and 20 years in prison, respectively.<br />The rulings will be broadcast live nationwide based on grounds that it's in the public's interest.<br />
