Local residents gathered outside Sha Tin station to show their support for the protests in Hong Kong by chanting "liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our time".<br /><br />The video shows hundreds of nearby residents on Thursday night watching a film while shouting Hong Kong protest chants and cheering.<br /><br />According to the filmer, the film was "Winter On Fire", a documentary about the 2014 Ukrainian revolution which may inspire Hong Kong nationals during the recent anti-extradition bill protests.
