"韓방문 환영합니다"…문체부•관광공사, 베트남 환대주간 실시<br /><br />South Korea is giving a special welcome this week to tourists from Vietnam.<br />It's the 2019 Vietnam Welcome Week, starting today, as part of strengthening ties with with the country under Korea's New Southern Policy.<br /> Visitors from Vietnam will find welcome booths at the airports, travel information in their language, gifts and discounts of up to 40 percent.<br />Vietnam is an increasingly important source of tourism for South Korea.<br />Over the past five years, tourist arrivals have risen by a staggering 34 percent annually.<br />Already this year, South Korea has welcomed an estimated 400-thousand Vietnamese. <br />
