농어촌 외국인 계절근로자 체류기간 5개월로 늘어난다<br /><br />South Korea will extend the visa period for foreign workers employed in seasonal agricultural work... from the current three months to five months.<br />The justice ministry announced a plan on Monday to revise the immigration law... and create a new type of visa for seasonal workers.<br />The new law will be implemented pending an approval at Cabinet meeting in November.<br />The government introduced measures to attract seasonal workers from abroad in 2015,... in response to labor shortages at farming and fishing villages due to the aging population.<br />Some 2-thousand 8-hundred seasonal workers entered Korea in 2018.<br />
