U.S. Forces Korea commander General Robert Abrams is to participate in this week's 8th annual Seoul Defense Dialogue, a multilateral security consultative body... held to promote peace and stability in Northeast Asia and discuss ways to improve the security environment in the Asia-Pacific region.<br />A military source confirmed that General Abrams is to attend the forum this Thursday... quelling speculation of a chasm in South Korea-U.S. relations.<br />Confirmation from the U.S. side was uncertain up until now... fueling concerns after Seoul announced that it'll let its military intel sharing agreement with Japan expire.<br />General Abrams' presence will mark the first time a U.S. Forces Commander will attend the annual event... in which some 50 countries and five international organizations are expected to participate.<br />
