CHANGSHA, CHINA — A man in central China nearly died after sticking a chopstick up his nose to scratch an itch. <br /><br />With the stick up his nose, he tripped and fell, resulting in the 20-centimeter long chopstick going straight through his nasal cavity. According to Pear Video, doctors were worried that any sudden movement from the man might kill him.<br /><br />After surgery, the chopstick was removed from the man's skull which then granted him a bed intensive care.
