Vice-president Zuraida Kamaruddin, who has been absent from party meetings, said this was because PKR president Anwar Ibrahim did not entertain the reconciliation letters sent to him.<br /><br />According to her, Anwar replied to the first letter saying he was going on a pilgrimage to Mecca.<br /><br />“We then sent a second letter and a third, to ask for a meeting between the president and certain central leadership council members who were elected in the party polls,” she added.<br /><br />Previously, PKR secretary-general Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said those who wished to reconcile with Anwar should attend the monthly meetings.<br /><br />However, Zuraida dismissed his response, saying the letters were addressed to Anwar and not Saifuddin.
