Office workers rescued a stray kitten - then gently rocked her to sleep with a make-shift hammock.

The one-year-old cat named Mahak was wrapped in a soft blanket tied to two swivel chairs before workers began swinging her to sleep at their office in Bangkok, Thailand on August 15.

Filmer Somsamorn Prathummin, who is also one of the employees, said that Mahak was once a homeless kitten until a staff member found her at the building entrance and brought her to the office.

She said: ''She is very friendly and smart too. She knows that if she jumps on our lap or snuggles us, she will get some snacks.

Sometimes, we are really stressed from work but Mahak can totally brighten up the day and bring cheerfulness back to the office.''
