A runaway cow was shot dead by police after it attacked a woman on a scooter in eastern China's Taihe county on August 28.<br /><br />The video shows an around 500-kilogram cow running on a busy road suddenly attacking a scooter rider and knocking her down onto the ground.<br /><br />Since the cow damaged several vehicles and injured two people, the police and the owner could not control the animal after having tried several times.<br /><br />Finally, the police used six police vehicles to drive the cow to the side of the road where an officer put it down.<br /><br />According to the cow's owner, the cow ran away when he was about to sell it.<br /><br />Two injured people were sent to hospital and they only suffered minor injuries.
