Hurricane Dorian, the second strongest Atlantic storm in nearly 70 years, has been downgraded to a Category 2 hurricane after pummeling the Bahamas.<br />And it's now tracking its way north.<br />For more on this and other news from around the world, let's turn to our Kim Da-mi.<br />Da-mi, give us the latest on the hurricane.<br />Dorian weakened on Tuesday but is now heading north-west towards the Florida coastline.<br />The U.S. National Hurricane Center announced on Tuesday that Dorian has been downgraded to a Category 2 storm as of 11AM local time.<br />Its maximum windspeed now remains at around 175-kilometers-per-hour.<br />Over 2-million people in Florida, Georgia and South Carolina are under mandatory evacuations.<br />According to CNN, around 27-hundred flights around Florida were cancelled.<br />And the state's Orlando International Airport has been shut down since 2AM on Tuesday.<br />Tourist parks including Disney World and Legoland were also closed on Tuesday.<br />After reaching Florida by Tuesday night, Dorian is expected to bring heavy winds and waves to the neighboring states of Georgia and the Carolinas until late Wednesday.<br />Earlier on Monday, the killer storm pounded the Bahamas, leaving 5 people dead.<br />Bahamas authorities said that death toll may rise.<br />
