주한미군 "기지반환, 최대한 조속히 이뤄질 수 있도록 협력"<br /><br />The U.S. Forces Korea says it respects South Korea's decision to take back ownership of American military bases on the Peninsula.<br />In a statement released Tuesday... the U-S-F-K said it remains committed to cooperating with the South Korean government... to return the U.S. installations to the South Korean public and local communities as quickly as possible.<br />Among the 80 American bases in South Korea... 54 of them have already been returned.<br />Discussion on returning 19 of the 26 remaining bases are on-going... while talks on returning seven bases have currently stalled.<br />
