The boost came right after the 31-year-old<br />singer performed a medley of “Truth Hurts”<br />and “Good as Hell” at the 2019 VMAs. Lizzo took to Twitter to celebrate the<br />news, saying it is “a [win] for all of us.” Lizzo, via Twitter It is the first rap No. 1 on the<br />chart by a solo female since 2017,<br />when Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow"<br />held the spot for three weeks. Lizzo is only the sixth female rapper to<br />reach No. 1 on the Hot 100, alongside artists<br />such as Lil’ Kim, Iggy Azalea and Ms. Lauryn Hill.
