Lowe’s to Lend Support With<br />Hurricane Dorian Relief Efforts.<br />In preparation for Hurricane Dorian’s impending<br />arrival in the United States, Lowe’s has officially<br />activated their “Emergency Command Center.”.<br />Located in Mooresville, North Carolina, the<br />“Command Center” oversees the dispatching of<br />emergency supplies to areas that will be impacted.<br />This includes the pre-staging of trucks<br />and the evaluation of what extra supplies<br />will be needed as the hurricane develops. .<br />Hurricane Dorian, which was initially expected<br />to hit Florida, is now predicted to hit South<br />and North Carolina as early as Thursday.<br />According to the company's website,<br />more than 4,000 truckloads of supplies have<br />already been shipped to coastal stores.<br />They’ve also staged multiple flood trucks<br />outside of predicted impact zones, with the<br />intent to mobilize as soon as it is safe to do so. .<br />Additionally, around 300 employees have received<br />specialized training and are ready to provide<br />additional support in impacted regions
