Ezekiel Elliott and Cowboys Agree <br />to $90 Million Extension<br />.<br />The Dallas Cowboys star is now the highest-paid <br />running back in NFL history.<br />.<br />The six-year, $90 million contract extension includes <br />$50 million guaranteed, according to ESPN.<br />.<br />Todd Gurley's $45 million guaranteed was <br />the previous high for a running back. <br />.<br />Elliott was a holdout for all of training camp and preseason.<br />.<br />The running back is expected to attend Cowboys practice on Wednesday.<br />.<br />Elliott was selected by the Cowboys with the <br />No. 4 overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft.<br />.<br />He led the league in rushing his <br />rookie season and again in 2018.<br />.<br />Elliott is the fifth player since 1970 to lead the league <br />in rushing in two of his first three seasons.
