It focused on the health effects <br />of both regular and diet soft drinks <br />on more than 452,000 people in ten <br />countries, between 1992 and 2000. It found that drinking two or more <br />"glasses" of diet soda per day was <br />linked to deaths from circulatory disease, <br />including coronary artery disease. The study also found an association <br />between higher soft drink consumption <br />and risk of death from Parkinson's disease.
