Leslie Jones Confirms Departure<br />From ‘Saturday Night Live’.<br />In a five-part statement posted to<br />Twitter, Leslie Jones finally confirmed<br />reports that she would not be starring<br />in the show’s 45th season.<br />Yes it’s true I am leaving Saturday Night Live.<br />I cannot thank NBC, the producers, writers,<br />and amazing crew enough for making SNL<br />my second home these last five years, Leslie Jones, via Twitter.<br />In a hashtag on the post, Jones referred to<br />her departure as “graduating” and hinted<br />at upcoming “projects and adventures.”.<br />I know you will be as excited as I am when you<br />see some of the amazing projects and adventures<br />that I have coming up very soon! Love you all!!, Leslie Jones, via Twitter.<br />Jones then went on to thank the show's creator,<br />Lorne Michaels, calling him her “mentor and confidant.” .<br />Lorne Michaels, you’ve changed my life<br />in so many ways!
