Grammy-Winning Songwriter<br />LaShawn Daniels Dead at 41<br /> LaShawn Daniels, who helped write songs <br />for many major artists, died on Sept. 4. His family broke the news in a statement<br />to Instagram, saying he was the “victim of<br />a fatal car accident in South Carolina.” April Daniels, via <br />'Page Six' Daniels was best known for his work with artists<br />such as Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez. He also won a Grammy in 2000 for <br />Destiny Child’s song, “Say My Name,” <br />and was nominated in 2013 for <br />Tamar Braxton’s “Love and War.” Daniels is survived by his wife, April Daniels,<br />and three kids, Omarr, Tahshon and Jett.
