Asia's biggest film festival, the Busan International Film Festival, is set to kick off next month for a ten-day run.<br />Around three hundred films will be showcased at the festival,... and our Choi Si-young takes a closer look at the opening and closing films for this year.<br />This year's opening film at the Busan International Film Festival is 'The Horse Thieves. Roads of Time' directed by Yerlan Nurmukhambetov and Lisa Takeba.<br />The film starts with a breadwinner going to market to sell his horse but instead getting killed.<br />This film from Kazakhstan is similar to classic American Western films.<br />"This film is narrated from an omnipresent point of view,..."<br />Closing film is 'Moonlit Winter' by South Korean director Lim Dae-hyung.<br />The film tells a story of love once lost but recaptured afterwards between a mother and her daughter.<br /><br />The festival will kick off on October third, and to commemorate the 100th<br />anniversary of the Korean film industry, ten major Korean films will premiere at the festival.<br />Choi Si-young, Arirang News.<br />
