Education Minister Dr Maszlee Malik on Thursday announced that all public higher education institutions (IPTAs) must become completely disabled-friendly within the next ten years, as part of the the guidelines for the OKU (Disabled) Inclusion in Higher Education Institutions Policy that was implemented in January.<br /><br />He said the policy is to ensure that the OKU community will not be sidelined from education. He said this after launching of the guidelines at the International Islamic University (IIUM).
