Boris Johnson's brother has resigned from the government, saying he had been "torn between family loyalty and the national interest". Jo Johnson, who had been a senior minister attending meetings of his brother's Cabinet said: "I don't have any further comments to say other than it's been an honour to be MP for Orpington and a minister under three governments" as he left home.
