Dorian Reaches Land on <br />North Carolina Coast.<br />The hurricane, which is now a category 1, hit the state's <br />Outer Banks.<br />The National Hurricane Center says the storm still contains <br />90 MPH winds.<br />Upon landfall, Dorian has left <br />nearly all of North Carolina's <br />Cape Hatteras without power.<br />The storm is also responsible for the deaths of at least two people <br />in the state.<br />The NHC adds that Dorian should be heading into around the New England area by Friday night.<br />But beforehand, the NHC says it will cause "life-threatening storm surges" on the <br />coasts of North Carolina and Virginia.<br />Dorian has been moving up the <br />east coast since lambasting the <br />Bahamas last weekend.<br />It struck the tiny island nation <br />as a category 5 hurricane.<br />30 people have been confirmed dead in the area and that number is expected to rise
