U.S. users will be directed <br />to the Centers for Disease <br />Control and Prevention. Dr. Tedros Ghebreyesus, Director General WHO, via CNBC The WHO has described the <br />spread of false vaccine information <br />as "a major threat to global health." The WHO says such inaccurate <br />information could even "reverse <br />decades of progress made in <br />tackling preventable diseases.” In 2019, the U.S. has been host <br />to 1,234 measles cases in 31 states. That number is triple the amount of <br />cases from 2018 and the most in <br />almost three decades. Public health experts have <br />largely placed the blame for the <br />significant uptick in measles cases <br />on online anti-vaccination content.
