Michigan to Prohibit Selling of Flavored E-Cigarettes.<br />It is the first U.S. state to pass <br />a measure of this kind.<br />The ban starts immediately but must be renewed early next year.<br />The measure expands on a current ban in Michigan, prohibiting sales to underage consumers.<br />Under the ban, flavored e-cigarette products are not allowed to be sold in retail spots or online.<br />State businesses have <br />one month to follow the rule.<br />Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer says <br />the ban is meant to protect younger people.<br />She has even declared a <br />public health emergency in the <br />state over rampant underage use.<br />My number one priority is keeping our kids safe and protecting the health of the people of Michigan, Gretchen Whitmer, via 'The Washington Post'
