A violent storm hit West Sumatra in Indonesia on Friday damaging at least 50 homes, according to eyewitnesses. <br /><br />Strong winds and hail battered the Pauh Duo area of South Solok Regency for about one hour from 1630 local time.<br /><br />Residents panicked as the storm hit but there were no reports of fatalities.
